Body Posture Exercises
This pose helps in lengthening your spines and even stretches your glutes and hamstrings. It reduces the stress and releases tension in your neck and lower back.
Method: Sit on your knees and then bend forward, touching your face on the floor. Now stretch your hand in forwarding direction and ensure that your hips touch your ankles.
Forward fold releases the tension from your spine and glutes. It even stretches your legs and hips and while doing this your entire body lengthens and opens up.
Method: Stand straight on your toes. Now bend downwards and hold your ankles with your hands. Ensure while bending you must not fold your knees and tuck your chin towards your chest.
This exercise helps to release tension from your shoulders and neck and gives a good massage to your spine. It even stretches it completely. Cat cow is a good exercise for promoting circulation of blood in body.
Method: Bend your knees and stand in them. Now lean forward and place your hands on the floor looking in downward direction. This pose is cat pose. Now you look in upward direction moving your face up and seeing towards sky. This is cow pose. Keep repeating it by moving your face up and down and it will be a cat cow pose.
Standing Cat Cow
This exercise helps to loosen you up and your tightness in hips, glutes and back.
Method: Slightly bend your knees and place your hands-on knees. Now look in downward direction and then an upward direction. Repeat the steps of your neck and it will be a standing cat cow pose. Continue this for few minutes.
It will help you to stretch and open your chest as it is really important for people who sit for a long day. Sitting whole day makes your chest move inwards and with this exercise you can loosen your muscles and stretch them to relax as it will help you to stand straight and feel light.
Method: Stand on your feet with a gap of 2 inches between your feet. Move your arms backwards and interlock your fingers and stretch it out. Now, bring your hands in front and again interlock your fingers and stretch them in front direction. Repeat this for a minute.
These exercises are very mild and can be done within 10 minutes. It will not take much of your time and beneficial for health. Females who do not have much time to focus on themselves must go for them to maintain a healthy body posture for their better living.
